A Legacy of Passion and Expertise

Our story began in 1985, when founders Arthur and Jeremy opened our doors for the first time. Arthur (known to all as Artie) and Jeremy had decided to relaunch the previous Burdett's Off Licence with a new vision. They wanted to incorporate quality fresh fruit and vegetables. Very quickly the shop began to earn a good reputation and they had long queues of customers. The business grew over the years, fast forward to 2020 and the shop has evolved with the ever changing world that we live in. We are now a florist and mini garden centre providing flowers and plants for all occasions alongside a beautiful range of cards. today Amy, Arthur's  grand daughter, proudly continues the family tradition as the current owner, alongside a dedicated team. 

Meet Our Team

• Amy Frank: As the owner and head florist, Amy brings both creativity and a personal touch to every arrangement. Having grown up surrounded by the beauty of flowers, she’s passionate about maintaining the high standards her parents set, while adding her own flair to the shop’s offerings.

• Jeremy: Co-founder and still an integral part of our team, Jeremy’s experience and wisdom have shaped the shop's reputation for quality and care. He continues to support our operations and helps ensure that every customer receives the personal attention they deserve.

• Emma: Amy's sister and on of our talented florists, Emma, has an eye for detail and a flair for creating stunning designs. She works alongside Amy to craft bespoke floral arrangements for all occasions, big and small.

• Amy Clarke: Amy is the latest addition to our team and is already a great part of it. She has vast experience in the floral world and fits in perfectly.

• Sharon: With 24 years of dedication to the shop, Sharon is truly a member of the family. Her commitment to providing excellent customer service and her intimate knowledge of our customers' needs have made her an invaluable part of our team.

• Jayne: Amy's mum has the important job of keeping the books straight and also helps within the shop to condition flowers and to keep us tidy!

• We also have our extra special seasonal delivery drivers that help is at our peak times, they are invaluable. Amy's In-Laws are always on hand to help and so are our friends.
